Active supervision stands as the most effective strategy in childcare for creating a secure environment and preventing child injuries. Participants will acquire practical strategies to implement active supervision effectively.

This 2 hour session is focused on high quality infant care based on research by Ron Laly’s PTIC program in California and Zero to Three Website. What is curriculum for Infants? How do you manage all of the routines needed for children under 15 months of age. What are some of the trends in infant care in other countries. How do I communicate effectively with infants and their families?

In this 2 hour session, we discuss our family of origin and how they impact our family today. Including all families in our program and ways to engage them in respectful and authentic ways. Help support the bond between the child and family by the way we interact with children and their family. Share activities with families that supports their efforts to teach, nurture and engage their child.

Welcome! This 2- hour session will outline the components of effective high-quality adult-child interactions and the strategies adults can use to support infant, toddler and preschool children’s
development and learning. We will explore the benefits of high-quality adult-child interactions, evaluate adult-child interactions, and how to facilitate high-quality adult-child interactions that actively involve children and facilitate growth. You will increase your knowledge of the three dimensions and indicators related to (CLASS®): Facilitated Exploration, Facilitation of Learning and Development, and Concept Development. We will have fun learning strategies that facilitate high-quality adult-child interactions throughout the day and in routines and activities.

Explore also how your effective planning and implementing creative activities can reflect on your teacher interaction skills related to Toddler CLASS Dimension “Facilitation of Learning and Development” and PreK CLASS Dimension “Concept Development.”

This class helps teachers consider intentional methods that can be implemented to help children grow academically during play. This class is designed  for toddler and preschooler teachers.

Infants sometimes spend a large portion of their morning, afternoon, and early evening in a child care setting. In this training we will discuss ideas and make plans for keeping our infants and ourselves engaged and involved with different activities throughout the day.
